Maurizio Micheluz torna alle gare dopo il brutto infortunioFinalmente! Dopo 4 mesi di stop Maurizio Micheluz è di nuovo sceso in pista.
Anche se il week-end precedente aveva già assaggiato la bontà della sua nuova TM EN 250F ufficiale facendo da apripista ad una gara di Junior, possiamo dire che la gara abruzzese è ufficialmente quello del suo rientro alle competizioni. Il sesto posto al Sabato e il quarto alla Domenica non lo soddisfano molto ma rappresentano il punto di partenza di una stagione che è iniziata nel peggiore dei modi.
Ha detto Maurizio a fine gara: “…..sinceramente pensavo peggio! Sono soddisfatto di essere riuscito a finire entrambe le giornate e il risultato per il momento non mi interessa. Fortunatamente ho trovato la moto già in ottime condizioni e sono fiducioso di essere pronto per il GP di Finlandia e Slovacchia di Giugno…….”.
Anche Rodrig Thain era presente a questa prova di Assoluti d’Italia, ottimo banco prova in vista dei prossimi GPs. Rodrig, sempre veloce, ha chiuso le due giornate al terzo posto nella classifica riservata agli stranieri.
Anche Luca Cherubini, in gara con una TM 250 2T del team Bags-moto, è stato autore di due ottime giornate finendo quarto al Sabato e secondo la Domenica a pochi secondi dall’ufficiale KTM Alessandro Belometti.
Maurizio Micheluz is back to racing after a bad injury
Finally! After 4 months of stop Maurizio Micheluz is again on the track.
Although the previous weekend he already tasted the goodness of his new factory TM EN 250F in a race reserved to the Juniors, we can say that the Abruzzo race is that one of his return to the competitions. The sixth place on Saturday and the fourth on Sunday, not satisfy him very well but it is the start of a season that began in the worst way.
Maurizio said at the end of the race: "... .. I sincerely thought it was worst! I am pleased to be able to finish both days and the result for the moment doesn’t matter. Fortunately I found the bike already in excellent condition and I’m confident to be ready for the GP of Finland and Slovakia in June ... ..... ".
Also Rodrig Thain was present at this Italian race, an excellent test for the forthcoming GPs. Rodrig, always fast, has closed his two day races in third place in the foreigners ranking.
Even Luca Cherubini, in the race with a TM 250 2T by Bags-moto team, was author of two very good days finishing fourth on Saturday and second on Sunday only a few seconds far from the factory KTM Alessandro Belometti.
