Aigar Leok with the big of the MX1

The first edition of the GP in Latvia was closed with a very positive result for TM and its rider Aigar Leok who, despite being an Estonian rider, felt this event like the home GP and he was waiting for it with trepidation.
Despite not having solved the problems at his left shoulder yet, Aigar was able to manage at the top the sports weekend and to find, with the technician Patriek Heydens, the right balance of his TM MX 450F "factory", very important key to be competitive on the fast sandy Latvian track .
In the qualifying race scheduled on Saturday Aigar Leok has closed eight behind Tony Cairoli, showing his intentions for the GP.
In the two rounds scheduled for Sunday Aigar is not be intimidated by the level of his competitors and he pushed to have a very good starts from his excellent row position passing in the top ten since the first lap.
A sixth and eighth places represented the final spoils of Aigar Leok in the GP of Latvia, in both rounds a few seconds far from the World Champion David Philippaerts and in front of the two Belgian Ken De Dycker and Manuel Priem.
With this result TM strengthens its sixth position in the Manufacturer World Championships gaining points to Kawasaki, confirming as second European Manufacturer and first Italian manufacturer in the world ranking.
Aigar commented at the end of the race: "....I expect this GP with anxiety and is not a mystery that I like very much sandy tracks. My shoulder does not allow me to ride as I want and it condition my performance in the race. Nevertheless I am satisfied about this result, about my bike and the work that TM does for me, thanks to everybody... ".
Another difficult race for Czech Martin Michek forced to withdraw in both rounds. Besides having to recovery at two bad starts, Martin has been dogged by a few small technical problems that forced him to return to the pit line early.
