Rodrig Thain on the podium of the GP of Portugal With a summer typical climate began the Enduro World Championship 2009 in Penafiel, Portugal, around Oporto. Thain has commented at the end of the race: ".... I should be very happy about my result but I'm not so! I was not at ease on the extreme test and this has affected me very much, especially on Saturday. Anyway I look forward, we are only at the beginning and I am confident of the potential that both me and my bike have ... .. ". Good race also for Luca Cherubini also him in a E2 class with a private TM EN 250 2-stroke. Twice tenth and ninth in the provisional world rankings are a confirmation of a renewed competitiveness.
