Thierry Van Den Bosch e Davide Gozzini dominano la gara di LatinaUn’altra giornata da ricordare! Una di quelle che non si dimentica facilmente.
Una gara importante per i piloti e i tecnici TM in vista del prossimo GP di Gran Bretagna.
Thierry Van Den Bosch ha fornito una prova di forza dimostrando, se mai ce ne fosse ancora bisogno, quali sono le sue intenzioni. Velocissimo nelle prove, Thierry ha concluso la sua giornata a bottino pieno portando la sua TM SMX 450 F ufficiale sul gradino più alto del podio della classe S1, vincendo le due manche del campionato italiano nonché la manche Internazionale.
Grande prova anche per Davide Gozzini sul veloce circuito di Latina che si aggiudica la terza vittoria consecutiva nel campionato Italiano S2. Il “Gozzo” ha vinto gara 1 mentre in gara 2 ha concluso secondo alle spalle di Adrien Chareyre, che non prende i punti per la classifica nazionale.
Anche Andrea Occhini è stato autore di una ottima seconda manche finendo in terza posizione, mentre in gara 1 ha concluso all’ottavo posto a causa di una caduta.
Sempre a punti anche Alex Serafini, non ancora al 100% della condizione fisica a causa dell’infortunio patito ad inizio anno, che ha concluso al quattordicesimo e quindicesimo posto le due manche in programma.
Si arriva così al via della gara Internazionale, riservata ai migliori sedici piloti di ognuna delle due categorie, dominata dal duo TM Van Den Bosch e Gozzini. Entrambi in prima fila con il francese Adrien Chareyre che parte in testa braccato da “VDB” e “Gozzo” i quali, dopo alcuni giri, lo superano e se ne vanno. Vince così Van Den Bosch seguito da vicino da Davide Gozzini, che in più occasioni aveva dato l’impressione di essere più veloce del suo compagno francese, mentre Chareyre è costretto al ritiro per problemi tecnici. Thierry Van Den Bosch and Davide Gozzini dominates Latina’s race
Another day to remember! One that does not forget easily.
An important race for TM’s riders and technicians for the forthcoming Grand Prix of Great Britain.
Thierry Van Den Bosch has given a strong demonstration, if ever it were needed, what are his intentions.
Fast in the practices, Thierry ended his day at full loot and bringing his factory TM SMX 450 F on the highest step of the podium of the S1 class, winning the two motos of the Italian championship as well as the international one.
Great race for Davide Gozzini on the fast circuit in Latina where he take his third consecutive victory in the Italian championship in S2 class. The "Gozzo" won race 1 and while race 2 concludes second behind Adrien Chareyre, which does not take the points in the national ranking.
Andrea Occhini also was author of an excellent second moto finishing in third place, while in the first one he concluded to the eighth because of a fall.
Again points for Alex Serafini, not yet at 100% of the physical condition due to injury suffered at the beginning of the year, which ended at the fourteenth and fifteenth place in the two motos in program.
We arrive at the start of the International race reserved to the best sixtieh best riders of each of the two categories, dominated by the duo TM Van Den Bosch and Gozzini. Both in the first row with the Frenchman Adrien Chareyre who start in head of the group hunted from "VDB" and "Gozzo" which, after a few laps, overtakes him and goes away. Van Den Bosch win the race followed closely by Davide Gozzini, who on several occasions gave the impression of being faster than his French team mate, while Chareyre was forced to withdraw because of a technical problems. Occhini finishes in sixth place recovering from the back and Serafini fifteenth.

Next meeting on 30th May 2009 at Mallory Park for the GP of Great Britain valid as the second round of the S1-S2 Supermoto World Championship.
