Davide Gozzini e Andrea Occhini sul podio di BuscaAncora un podio per i piloti TM ma questa volta al secondo posto al fianco di Davide Gozzini, vincitore di giornata, troviamo il giovane Andrea Occhini.
Entrambi, in sella alle TM SMX 660F nella classe S2, si sono giocati la gara contro il duo Husqvarna Chareyre/Delepine i quali, come tutti sappiamo, non prendono punti per la classifica del campionato italiano.
Davide Gozzini ha braccato il francese Chareyre fino alla fine cercando quel sorpasso che spesso solo lui riesce a trovare, accontentandosi poi della seconda piazza per non rischiare di perdere punti importanti per la classifica nazionale.
Scatenato anche il giovane Andrea Occhini che ha cercato in tutti i modi di tenere dietro Delepine, cedendo sul finale solo all’esperienza del belga. Andrea finisce due volte quarto che gli valgono la seconda miglior prestazione nel campionato italiano.
Nella classe S1 continua il lavoro di messa a punto per il due volte campione del mondo Thierry Van Den Bosch il quale sfrutta le gare di campionato italiano per effettuare test importanti. Nelle due manche a disposizione finisce quarto e secondo, ma ciò che più gli interessa è aumentare il feeling con la sua TM SMX 450F alimentata ad iniezione con la quale ha vinto il primo GP del Campionato del Mondo Supermoto.
A punti in entrambe le manche anche Il giovane pesarese Alex Serafini il quale non ha ancora recuperato completamente la mobilità della mano destra infortunata.
Nella prova degli Internazionali d’Italia, gara alla quale partecipano i migliori 16 piloti della S1 e della S2, Gozzini scatta tra i primi e lotta per tutta la gara con i due fratelli Chareyre per la vittoria assoluta. Davide finisce terzo dietro ai due francesi e davanti al pesarese Lazzarini mentre Van Den Bosch e Occhini, coinvolti in una caduta allo start, sono costretti a recuperare dalle retrovie.

Another podium for TM riders but this time in second place alongside Davide Gozzini, race winner, we find the young Andrea Occhini.
Both, on the TM SMX 660F in the S2 class, have fought against the duo Husqvarna Chareyre / Delepine who, as we all know, do not take points for the ranking of the Italian championship.
Davide Gozzini had hunted the French Chareyre until the end trying to overtake that often only he can find, then accept the second place to avoid losing important points for national ranking.
Also the young Andrea Occhini has tried in every way to keep Delepine on his back, yielding only to the final of the Belgian. Andrea finished fourth twice that it means the second best performance in the Italian championship.
In the S1 class continues the work of development for the two times world champion Thierry Van Den Bosch which uses the Italian championship races to make important tests. In the two heats he finished fourth and second, but what he is considering is to increase the feeling with his TM SMX 450F powered with fuel injection with which he won the first GP of the Supermoto World Championship.
Points in both heats also for the young pesaro Alex Serafini which has not yet fully recovered the mobility of his right hand injured.
In the International of Italy race, with the best 16 riders of the S1 and S2 classes, Gozzini starts in the top position fighting for the entire race with the two brothers Chareyre for the absolute victory. Davide finished third behind the two French and in front of the pesaro Lazzarini while Van Den Bosch and Occhini, involved in a fall at the start, are forced to recover from the back.
